This week we are going to answer another one of your frequently asked questions, “Can I hire a magician to perform in my home and will I have enough space?”

Can I hire a magician to perform in my home?

Absolutely! We provide magicians for every kind of venue. Private homes, community centres, hotels, malls, schools, cruise ships, the list goes on and on!

If you are having a party in your home you can be sure that our magicians will leave your home in the same condition as they found it, no mess! We also provide all of our own equipment (tables etc) so we can just show up and do the show.

Do your require much space?

No! We have performances for every venue size. Whether you live in a small apartment or you are having an event in the largest banquet room we can cater to your needs!

Do you perform for small birthday parties?

We do it all! Children’s birthday parties, corporate events, weddings, trade shows, private parties and so much more! We have different prices and packages for different events.

Are all magicians the same and why should I pay more?

There is a common myth that every magician is alike and that in these hard times we should simply go with the cheapest entertainer! It seems that there is a growing trend to pick an entertainer based on price . This may be your first time looking into live entertainment for your special event so let us explain.

Like any service, as the saying goes “You get what you pay for!”. A magicians fee is usually based on his or her experience and years in the performing business. Comparing one magician to the next based on price would be like comparing apples to oranges. You want to make sure that you are hiring a professional, the last thing you want is children running all over your house after 10 minutes because they are not interested in the show or your clients getting up at your next company function and leaving because the magicians jokes are in bad taste.

So how do I know that I am getting a professional?

Call different magic companies to get an idea of price first! Usually the top three prices will be from the professionals & they are the ones you want to hire. To give you a good idea, a professionals price on something like a birthday party will generally only be $25 to $50 more. Now isn’t it worth paying that bit extra for piece of mind! After that visit the performers website. Look for videos, testimonials & descriptions of the show, after all the show is the service you are paying for. Finally don’t be scared to give the performer a call, speaking with someone is always the best way to get a good feeling about them. If you base your decision on your gut instinct you can never go wrong!
